Labor Pricing
Straightforward Pricing. Quality Work.
At Southeast Iowa Handyman, most projects are priced by the job rather than by the hour. This allows us to provide a clear price based on the scope of work, complexity, required equipment, and expected time to complete the project.
Small Repairs & Handyman Tasks
Minor repairs, adjustments, installations, and other small tasks.
Half-Day Projects
Great for projects involving several smaller repairs or installations.
Full-Day Projects
For larger repair, installation, carpentry, and improvement projects.
Carpentry & Remodeling
Door installation, framing, trim work, drywall, bathroom improvements, kitchen projects, and other remodeling work are generally priced as a complete project.
Commercial Work
Commercial projects are priced based on scope, scheduling requirements, site conditions, insurance requirements, equipment, and complexity.
What Goes Into Our Pricing?
Our labor pricing reflects more than just the hours spent at your property. Project pricing may account for:
- Skilled labor and workmanship
- Commercial and residential liability insurance
- Tools and specialty equipment
- Project planning and preparation
- Material pickup and handling
- Setup and cleanup
- Disposal when applicable
- Travel and transportation
- Business overhead
Materials
Unless otherwise stated in your estimate, materials are additional to labor. Material procurement, delivery, specialty equipment, disposal, and other project-related expenses may also be included in your estimate when applicable.
Larger Projects
Projects totaling more than $3,000 require a 30% deposit upon acceptance of the estimate. The deposit secures scheduling and allows for material procurement. The remaining balance is due upon substantial completion unless otherwise stated in your proposal.
